Clean and Care Guide

IMPORTANT: The customer is responsible for cleaning as outlined in the Next-Gen Nuvella cleaning instructions. Not all stains may be removed. Deviating from the cleaning instructions, allowing the fabric to become excessively soiled without cleaning, and unreasonable or excessive use or any abuse by pets or people voids the warranty.

The warranty does not cover any fabric that has been treated with a stain repellent treatment; stain repellent treatment is not necessary and will damage the fabric.

For Lightly Stained or Soiled Areas:

Loose stains such as dirt should be vacuumed off and then cleaned. Blot the stained/soiled area with a dry cotton cloth or paper towel to remove excess moisture. Apply mild detergent and warm water directly to the stain with a cleaning cloth or sponge and gently rub the soiled area. Do not over rub, and do not use a brush. Rinse thoroughly. Air dry.

For Stubborn Stains or Mildew:

Make a solution of four ounces of bleach to 28 ounces of water in a clean spray bottle (most spray bottles are 32 ounces). If possible, place a clean white cloth between the fabric and the foam cushion to absorb any excess moisture. Set the nozzle to "fan" the spray patterns, and wet out the entire side of the cover where the stain is. Wipe the entire cover with a clean white cloth to remove any excess moisture. Then spray the same area with clean water to rinse the bleach solution out of the fabric. Wipe the entire cover again with a clean cloth to remove any excess moisture. Allow the cover to air dry.

Where product instructions specify "Machine Washable/Dryer":

The washing machine must be free from residual bleach, detergents, and chemicals that can soil or stain the slipcovers. Run the washing machine through an empty wash cycle before washing Next-Gen Nuvella slipcovers. Do not overload the washing machine. Close all zippers prior to washing to prevent damage. Wash using the gentle cycle with cold water and a mild detergent. Air drying is highly recommended. When using a dryer to tumble dry, set the dryer to low heat. To ensure a proper fi t after each washing, reapply the slipcover while slightly damp. Stand the cushions and pillows on end and rotate them every 15-20 minutes until dry.
